DUBAI – Turkish Airlines is set to restore its Istanbul-Dubai flight operations from June 8, marking a key boost for air connectivity between the UAE and Turkiye.
The resumption comes as travel demand between the two countries continues to recover and expand across both business and leisure segments. The announcement has been welcomed by travellers and officials, reinforcing the strong aviation ties between Dubai and Istanbul.
Turkiye’s Ambassador to the UAE, Lutfullah Goktas, confirmed the development in a message shared on social media, expressing enthusiasm over the renewed air link. “We're meeting in the skies over the United Arab Emirates in June with Turkish Airlines,” he said, adding that the return of services reflects strong relations between the two nations.

The terminal strengthens Istanbul’s positioning as a global aviation hub and reflects rising investment in high-value travel infrastructure. It is designed to cater to passengers from key markets, including the UAE, Germany, Russia, the United States and the United Kingdom, where demand for premium travel services continues to grow.

The Jetex-operated terminal is part of a wider shift in aviation towards personalised, appointment-based services. Travellers using the facility can benefit from streamlined procedures, direct airside access and tailored hospitality services, reducing the time spent in traditional airport processes.
